I say! What a delightful discovery I have made by encountering this sublime web page. It is a bit too silly for my proper enjoyment when one takes into view my political and economic prowess. Humph! Sorry about that, I must bid you adieu! Lady Victoria Plunkett Aftershave Timboppins-Dishwasher Smith is enquiring if I may wish to consume a cucumber sandwich in her company. Perhaps after that, I will have a jolly good game of polo. My sincerest apologies!

Even a sporadically upgraded Daze of our Lives is prefered to no Days at all.But the symbolic nature of the last picture keeps us wondering about the creator of our Daze. Mr. Archer, without your treasured inspiration we remain a lot poorer.Thank you for giving us hope that the Daze will resume and brighten our spirits again. With the very best of wishes for Mr Archer and his/our Daze

Love the site, both the design and the gags. The first card I sent I sent to someone because the name of the person featured on the card was a variation on that of the recipient. A few days later, another friend to whom I had sent a card, returned the compliment and sent me one that had my surname on it. (The one about the beard licence). Cool and spooky, huh? Keep those surnames rolling.

Your site! In responding to it I simply cannot retain my decorum. It has deeply agitated me-- it has made me squeal and hoot loudly in public places! Secretly, I take this failure to control myself as a shameful personal failing, proof of my weak character. I will, however, emphatically blame it all on you. Visiting your site is sure to bring me to ruin! Yet, I cannot make myself stay away....

There I was, coasting, preparing myself to study the nineteenth century novel, and now... Oooooh! How can I ever give the likes of Thackeray, Bronte, Collins and Dickens the reverence they deserve when my perception of the nineteenth century has been irrevocably altered... I dutifully did with the computer what Becky Sharp (Vanity Fair - loved the book, hated the caricatures...) did with Dr.Johnson's Dictionary... Look what you have reduced me to. With just one hapless click of the mouse I was undone...

Mssrs. Archer & Carruthers, I have to say, I found your archives so amusing I lost an entire day perusing them and sending e-mails to everyone I know. There was something for everyone... my favorite was "Head Grip", especially poignant seeing how my name closely resembles the "Cynthia" and my BF, oddly enough, goes by the name of "Roy". We have to do something for laughs in this God-forsaken cultural wasteland. Keep up the good work... please!!!

I must congratulate this service, on being so ahead of it's time. I have lost several patients to the victorian heart attack technique, until It was broken to me in an eCard of "last aid" on my post-Eniac electronic brain. It's astonishing. First punch cards are replaced, and paper-free output devices are introduced, then horseless mail delivery, and then, even medical advice is available through them. What wonders will my time phone modem, and projection moniter lead me to next, I wonder.

By far the most humorous site I've seen on this Internet. I've viewed each and every picture here, and read a good deal of the captions, and I must say, I was amused. Even to the point that I considered buying the book, and may yet still, if all goes according to plan... I think I want to build the apparatus used by the "beard in the sky" sometime...

So glad the "Dummies Guide" pointed me to your site. As a student of middle eastern dance, I loved the Egg Dancer! Is this for real? JezeBelly must learn this dance. More Victorian belly dancers please! Did you know this is the era when that name was coined? Those naughty Victorians wern't interested in seeing ethnic middle eastern folk dancing, but "belly" dancing--that was another matter. Keep the artwork coming!

Peabody the House Midget wonders if it's possible for people to put pictures of themselves up on this guestbook.
I'm going to see if it's possible to edit the guestbook page itself so that if somebody leaves the URL of their picture I can go and retrieve it, then paste it in the body of the guestbook along with their entry.
I'm sure the little blighter has some ulterior motive, but it's a good idea nevertheless.
