Mystery Fragrance

Gwendoline couldn't quite place the mysterious fragrance.
Did it evoke the pungent armpit smell of the Paris Flea Market and Jacques, romantic Jacques?
Perhaps the sulfurous sewagey aura of Venice and that raffish rogue Bruno the gondolier?
Or could it be steely-eyed Abdul the camel-master from Cairo and the emanations from his camel train?
