Pipe Smoker

 


Cecil Merriweather was grimly determined to conform to society's stereotypes, even though the word stereotype wouldn't be invented for another 4 years.
He had the pipe, the handlebar moustache, the starched collar and tie, the demeanor, the very presence of a gentleman.
But why, oh why would he incessantly fiddle with the-devil-knows-what in his jacket pocket?
