Bilge Duty

Navigator - First Class, Able Seaman Potter had flipped a coin at the Cape of Good Hope and chartered a southerly course - just to see if his shipmates had a sense of humor.

He was summarily keel-hauled, demoted to Bilge Hand - Fourth Class, and assigned to Pointless Lubrication Duty.
