Monorail Bike

The village folk poured scorn on Anton and the monorail he built to travel around his farm on.
This invention would be nothing, though, by comparison to the one he was secretly working on. A four-wheeled vehicle, capable of carrying more than just one person, and perhaps many, which ran on electrical power, generated by nothing more than the sun's rays.
But today he was off to his brother Pascale's house to ask for his help in testing a new device for painlessly slaughtering cattle. It was in its early developmental stages, and required the touch of Pascale's steady hand if everything was to proceed safely.
