Town Bugler

Quite possibly the most annoying person of the 19th Century was Gaston Tableuoui.
In the first place no-one knew how to pronounce his name, not even the man himself.
Secondly he was the Town Crier in the village of Spanque sur Derriere, Belgium, and over-enthusiastically went about his business at all and any hours of the day or night, bringing so-called news to the townsfolk.
Pictured here, moments before his violent death he heralds the news of the Mayor's latest bowel movements.
